Our provincial CUPE K-12 met with the employer’s association today, and had a much better experience than their last time, with the employer bringing an improved monetary offer. There is still more work to be done, but this is movement in the right direction.
While other bargaining groups have been reaching settlements with the provincial government, our employer association has been unwilling to address our needs, and negotiations have come to a standstill.
