Our local agreement is augmented by a provincial agreement common to most K-12 CUPE locals in the province which governs wages, health and safety, and benefits:
Provincial Collective Agreement between BCPSEA and K-12 Presidents’ Council
Every three years, the agreements are renegotiated. The provincial agreement is negotiated by the K-12 Presidents’ Council and BCPSEA. Once the provincial agreement is settled, our local agreement is negotiated by a committee made of CUPE members and district administrators.
