When you are at work, you have the responsibility to report workplace hazards.
If you are concerned that the normal course of your duties will put you at risk of physical or psychological injury, and report the hazard to your supervisor, your supervisor has a responsibility to remove the hazard or develop an effective plan to keep you safe.
You cannot face discipline due to reporting a hazard.
Your employer cannot simply replace you with a different employee.
If your employer doesn’t resolve the hazard, you have the right to refuse the unsafe work.
